Lough Shore Investments and Belfast Business Top 50 search for Belfast’s best start-up
Lough Shore Investments is once again delighted to announce its sponsorship of the annual Belfast Business Top 50 and the second annual best start-up award.
Founder, Danny Moore said Lough Shore Investments was keen to spotlight emerging business talent. “Everyday we are bowled over by the verve and passion of our young entrepreneurs. This event gives us a chance to salute the very best of the young businesses which will drive us out of recession and ensure Belfast is regarded as a global hub of enterprise and endeavour.”
The best start-up Award will focus on companies three year old or younger which have at least one employee.
Wholeschool Software was last year named as Belfast's best start-up at the seventh annual Belfast Business Top 50 awards which took place at Stormont last Thursday evening. Lough Shore Investments was a proud sponsor of the award which was presented for the first time this year. The software firm, based in Poleglass, specialise in the development of online resources for the education market and had to hold off competition from the likes of AirPos, FlowJob and Speechstorm in a very competitive category.
Máirtín Ó Muilleoir of Belfast Media Group said: "No matter how magnificent or how global the business, at some stage it started out small. Our aim is to identify the next generation of knockout ideas being turned into awesome businesses by smart, determined entrepreneurs."
